Karolina Frechowicz, Schön! Magazine, “In Their Own Light”

Stylist Karolina Frechowicz and photographer Charles Lu created a portrait series featuring 11 creatives representing the Los Angeles fashion community.

This exhibition demonstrates fashion’s unique power to simultaneously spotlight individuality and diversity while drawing people together and forging profound connections. Despite the group being so eclectic, they create a strong community bound by shared experiences, hopes, fears and dreams. The remarkable ability of fashion – and art more broadly – to bridge divides shines through.
