This exhibition explored the elemental components of home in some of the country’s most considered contemporary living spaces: John Pawson’s Cotswolds home; Nigel Slater’s London townhouse and Isabel Ettedgui’s Petersham cottage, as well as landmark modernist homes such as Ernö Goldfinger’s seminal 2 Willow Road in Hampstead.
Rich’s explorations into the fundamental elements of home were shown alongside original work by his friend and artist Nancy Kwon, whose ceramic pieces respond to the architectural and historical context of the space.
